Uber(Grab) answer to time and financial freedom or Is it a Myth?

Uber and Grab is a bright idea by  developers who really observe well the riding public. a mana from heaven because it gives option to commuters even  to car owners. It is a game changer. Taking this service has numerous benefits. 

A friend of mine who always drive his kids to school and rushed to go back from a business meeting to fetch them. Now with Uber/Grab  he just a couple of taps on his smartphone then instant car with a registered driver. A happy businessman/father now enjoys the freedom from bearing the traffic stress, at peace that his kids will be fetched by professional driver with his brand new car with comprehensive insurance. 

Coming home from a vacation trip , instead of calling his uncle to fetch them at the airport. Tap tap tap on the smart phone and there comes your ride home without the hassle of negotiating the fare. 

I can name more convenience this new technology gives the urban voyagers but this  blog is for those who are contemplating on  leaving their job, leaving  their struggling business or an excuse for purchasing a band new car.  I have talked to a number of Uber driver-operators( they drive their own cars) and 9 out of 10 are not satisfied with what their status.

  1. They say that they are not earning due to the traffic congestion in metro-manila.
  2. That the fair is to low.

These are just thoughts to ponder before you jump in to this new profession or new business.   Ask your self if you can bear the daily traffic? the feeling of demotion, Passenger turned driver?  The look and how the passenger will treat you  for example giving you a P10 peso tip, Can you?
